Raspberry pi ssh read from socket failed connection reset by peer

Mar 24, 2020 · Came across this whilst looking for a solution myself, as this was occuring when i tried to connect to a raspberry pi. I did the following that seems to have cured it .. well it did for me!. 1. Open cmd box 2. sudo rm -r /etc/ssh/ssh*key 3. sudo dpkg-reconfigure openssh-server. Once done started PuTTy on window PC and hey presto connection ...
But after power failure I found that directories in /var/run have bad permissions and some daemons wont start. After investigation I found failure start of systemd-tmpfiles: systemd-tmpfiles... I have two orange pi zero devices. But I can't log in via putty to both devices. There is connection refused error.
Specifically, the Web application that I am showing in this article, uses the WebRTC API to allow two users to securely communicate via audio/video over a peer to peer connection in real time. Each of the two ‘peers’ using this Web app would need to have a video device (Web camera), microphone and speakers or headphones.

If i attempt to cat file.sql again, the connection is terminated and I get a 'Connection reset by peer' message. Going from my local workstation to the server it's the same situation. If you are getting the "connection reset by peer" message while trying to login, your firewall is not allowing either port 22 traffic or blocking ssh traffic by stateful I would do that by running ssh in verbose mode for a while and once the connection resets, I have got more information to troubleshoot.
